How do I plot a function?

Type the function expression using x as the variable — for example, sin(x), x^2 - 3*x + 2, or sqrt(x). Add multiple functions to plot them simultaneously. Use pi for π and e for Euler's number. Scroll to zoom, drag to pan, and hover over the graph to read values at any x.

Can I graph multiple functions at once?

Yes. Add additional function inputs using the '+' button — each gets a distinct colour. This lets you compare functions visually, find intersections, and observe how parameter changes affect the curve. There is no hard limit on the number of functions plotted simultaneously.

What functions are supported in the expression evaluator?

Trigonometry: sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, atan2. Hyperbolic: sinh, cosh, tanh. Exponential and logarithm: exp, log (natural), log2, log10. Roots: sqrt, cbrt. Rounding: floor, ceil, round, abs, sign. Constants: pi, e, phi (golden ratio). Power: pow(base, exp) or use the ^ operator.

How do I find where two functions intersect?

Plot both functions on the graph. The calculator automatically detects intersections and marks them on the graph with a point. Hover over an intersection marker to read the exact (x, y) coordinates.

How do I calculate a matrix determinant or inverse?

Accepted Answer

Switch to the Matrix tab. Enter the size (N×N) and fill in the values. The calculator computes the determinant, inverse (if it exists), transpose, and matrix product instantly. Non-square matrices cannot be inverted — the inverse option is disabled for those.
