How to rotate a PDF

  1. Choose a PDF — the page count is reported before any change is made.
  2. Pick one of the three options: 90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise.
  3. Press Download rotated PDF and the new file arrives as name-rotated.pdf.

Applied to every page, relative to current rotation

The chosen angle is added to each page’s existing rotation rather than replacing it, which is exactly what you want for the classic problem: a document scanned from a landscape booklet where every page lies sideways in the viewer. One pass of 90° fixes the whole file, and applying 90° clockwise followed by 90° counter-clockwise returns to the original orientation — the three buttons wrap around instead of dead-ending at ±180°. The page count and the “relative to each page’s current rotation” note stay visible so there are no surprises about what will change.

What this tool does not do

Rotation is uniform: there is no per-page angle control here, so a mixed-orientation file (some pages portrait, some landscape) needs its pages handled individually. Reordering pages belongs to Organize PDF, and removing or extracting pages to PDF Page Editor. All rotation work happens locally in your browser with no upload, and the original file is untouched — the output is always a new download. Rotation is stored as a page property rather than by re-drawing pixels, so no quality is lost in the process: only the orientation flag of each page changes, never the content underneath.
